Tell us your favorite lens and how you use it.
I love the lens set we used on the music video for ‘No Woman No Cry’. They were Xtal express lenses. Everything our DP Jomo frames up looks like a movie in camera, and by time it hits the edit, the look and feel are comparable to none.
What is the greatest lesson you've learned in your career? :
Be humble, decisive, and grind.
What is the quote you live by?
“There Are Black People In The Future” - Alisha B Wormsley
“Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds.” - Bob Marley
“Listen in a way others will want to speak, and speak in a way others will want to listen.” - Unknown
Go fast, go alone, go far, go together. - Martha Goedert
I’m also a night owl, and somehow I latched to this:
"Outlaws, like lovers, poets, and tubercular composers who cough blood onto piano keys, do their finest work in the slippery rays of the moon." -Tom Robbins
